Views
A view is a way to look at the same tasks. Every view reads the same cards, so switching never copies or duplicates data — it only changes how the work is presented. Inside a project you pick between Board (the default), List, Calendar, Timeline, Table and Dashboard; the sidebar adds the Overview, the smart views Today, Upcoming and No project, the Trash, and the My day panel.
The data is the same in every view: editing a card in the Table or dragging it on the Board updates it everywhere. Choose the view that fits what you are doing right now.
Switch views
- 1Open a project from the sidebar — it opens on the Board.
- 2In the toolbar, click the view button (it shows the current view's name and icon).
- 3Pick Board, List, Calendar, Timeline, Table or Dashboard.
- 4The content redraws in the chosen view; search and filters stay applied.
View types
- Board
- The default Kanban. Columns are the project's lists; drag cards between them (changing status on the way) and drag column headers to reorder the lists themselves. Each column has a quick-add field at the bottom. With two or more phases, a tab bar above the board filters by phase — cards created there inherit the active phase. A project that has tasks but no lists yet falls back to three status columns: To do, Doing and Done.
- List
- Rows grouped by a criterion you pick with "Group by": list, phase (with 2+ phases), status or priority. Inline add per group, one-click completion, drag to reorder or nest, and a full keyboard cursor (see shortcuts below).
- Calendar
- Cards placed on their due date, as a month grid or a week planner (toggle inside the view). Drag a card to another day to reschedule it; the "+" on a day creates a task with that date. Respects your week-start preference.
- Timeline
- Gantt-style bars spanning each task's start-to-due range, with arrows drawn between tasks that depend on each other. Drag a bar horizontally to shift the task's dates. Undated tasks stay out of the chart.
- Table
- Sortable grid with columns for title, status, priority and dates. Click a header to sort; inside a project you can define custom columns ("Columns") — text, numbers, selects and even formulas — which also appear as custom fields on the card.
- Dashboard
- Read-only summary of the current scope: totals by status, overdue and blocked counts, a completion percentage, and breakdowns by list and by priority.
- Overview
- The cross-project home, chosen at the top of the sidebar. Lists all projects grouped as personal, professional, shared and archived, each with its progress — and hosts templates and "Create with AI".
Smart views and the Trash
Above the projects, the sidebar offers time-based cuts across all projects (they open as a list):
- Today — tasks due today plus anything overdue.
- Upcoming — due within the next 7 days.
- No project — loose to-dos that belong to no project.
- Trash — deleted tasks and projects, with restore and permanent delete.
My day: plan the day by dragging
The "My day" button in the toolbar opens a one-day planner beside the board: a column with half-hour slots plus a "no time" row.
- 1Open a project and click "My day".
- 2Drag a card from the board onto a time slot — the task is scheduled for that day and time without leaving its column.
- 3Drag chips between slots to replan, or drop them on the "no time" row.
- 4Use the arrows to move between days; a checkbox switches between this project only and all projects.
Search, filters and focus
The toolbar search and the Filters popover (priority, labels, "My tasks", assignees, due date, blocked) apply to every view. The status bar at the bottom shows counts for the current scope and toggles focus mode, which hides the sidebars and the rail for a full-screen board.
Keyboard shortcuts
Capture and search work everywhere; the task cursor (a green ring) lives in the List view.
