Present and share

A board becomes a presentation through frames, and leaves the app through sharing and exports. This page covers building slides, presentation mode with the dual-screen presenter view, collaborating live with cursors and comments, version history, the public link, embedding a board in a note, and every export format.

Frames become slides

Insert a frame from the toolbar (or right-click a selection and choose Wrap selection in frame) and that region becomes a slide. Slides play in their explicit order when set, otherwise by position on the board. With a frame selected, the panel controls everything about its slide:

Orientation and aspect ratio

Portrait or landscape, with common aspect presets or a custom size.

Slide background

A color or a background image, with its own opacity and an optional color/gradient overlay.

Slide order / hidden

Set the playing order explicitly, or hide a slide — hidden slides are skipped when presenting.

Transition

The entrance effect and its duration: fade, push, wipe, cover, reveal, split, slide, zoom, flip, iris, fall — plus Zoom travel and Travel, which fly the camera across the real canvas, Prezi-style.

Appear at step

Builds: objects with step 1, 2, 3… are revealed one advance at a time inside their slide; 0 means visible from the start.

Repeat in sequence

Inserts the same frame again as the next presentation step, so the camera returns to that view later.

Presenter notes

Free text only you see while presenting — never shown on the projected slide or the public link.

The Presentation panel

As soon as the board has a frame, a Presentation button appears in the header. It opens a side panel that concentrates the Present and Share buttons and lists the slides in a single column — as a compact list or as thumbnails.

• Drag slides to reorder them: an insertion line shows exactly where the slide will land.
• Click a slide to select its frame and zoom the canvas straight to it.
• Each slide row gives access to its notes and its hide toggle.

Presentation mode

Present takes over the whole screen, hides the editing UI and steps through the slides — builds first, then the next slide, with its transition. Reaching the end shows a closing screen; click to leave.

Presenter view and audience screen

Press V while presenting to open the presenter cockpit: the next slide, your presenter notes and a timer with reset. For a real dual-screen setup, open the Audience screen — a second window that only mirrors the current slide. Put it on the projector and keep the cockpit for yourself.

Collaborate live

• Everyone on the same board sees each other's cursors moving live, with name and color.
• Press / to chat from your cursor — the message floats next to it for others to read.
• When others are on the board, a reaction bar appears at the bottom: click an emoji to send it flying at your cursor position.
• Click a participant's avatar (top right) to follow their view; a "Following" pill appears, and panning on your own stops the following.

Comments

1. 1Use the comment button in the header, then click anywhere on the canvas to pin a comment there.
2. 2Drag a comment pin to move it; click it to read, reply-edit or act on it.
3. 3Resolve closes the discussion but keeps it — use Show resolved comments to review and Reopen to bring one back.
4. 4Delete comment removes it for good. Resolving and deleting are different actions on purpose.

Version history

While you edit, a snapshot is saved automatically about every 10 minutes (the 30 most recent are kept). Open Version history to browse and restore any of them — the current state is saved as a new version first, so restoring never loses work.

Share a public link

Share, inside the Presentation panel, publishes the board as a public presentation link. Anyone with the link steps through the presentation read-only: no login, no editing, and presenter notes are never shared.

3. 3Copy the link, open it to preview, or download the QR code to share it on another device.
4. 4Turn the switch off to revoke access at any time.

Embed in a note

A board can live inside a note. In the note editor, type "/" and pick the drawing embed, then choose the board. The embed is a window into the board, not a copy — edit the board and the note follows.

• Card view plays the board's frames as a live slideshow, with previous/next arrows.
• Image and Link views are lighter alternatives; you can also add a caption.
• Open in Draw jumps from the note straight to the board.

Export

The export menu in the header covers files and clipboard:

Copy as image

Copies the board or selection to the clipboard as an image (Ctrl + Shift + C).

Export to PowerPoint

Turns the frames into editable PPTX slides — shapes stay shapes. Freehand pencil strokes have no PowerPoint equivalent and are left out.

Export to PDF

One page per frame — for printing or sending.

Export PNG

A flat image of the board or the selection.

Export SVG

A vector image that stays crisp at any size, including formatted text and ink strokes.

Export JSON

The full board data; Import JSON brings it back into any board.
