Design and appearance

The appearance settings style the public page of your form without touching the collected data. Set an accent color, pick a light or dark appearance or a custom background, choose a font and corner style, adjust the density, and add a title image. Everything applies only to what respondents see, so you can shape the look to match your brand before publishing.

The options live in the form builder, in the "Appearance" section below the fields. Any change is reflected in the preview and, once saved, on the public page.

The appearance only changes looks. It never alters which fields exist, which column each one writes to, or the responses already collected.
The form's appearance is isolated from the app's theme: the "Light" or "Dark" choice belongs to the form itself. Your app's dark mode never leaks into the public page, and respondents see the appearance you chose regardless of their own device theme.

Appearance options

Adjust the look of the public page with these settings:

Accent color
The main color applied to the top stripe, the submit button and highlighted elements. Pick any color with the color selector.
Font
The typeface for the whole page: Sans, Serif, Slab, Mono, or Arredondada (rounded). These are built-in system font stacks, so nothing is loaded from outside.
Appearance
Choose "Light" or "Dark" for the page. Next to the two buttons, a color selector lets you pick a custom background color, which overrides the light/dark choice when set.
Corners
How rounded the elements are: three buttons going from square, through soft, to fully round.
Density
The spacing between fields: a compact layout or a roomier one, chosen with the two row icons.
Title image
An optional image next to the form title. Set its aspect ratio and reposition the visible part (see below).
Success message
The text shown after the person submits the form. If left blank, the default "Thank you for your response!" is used.
To go back to the light or dark appearance after choosing a custom background color, click the "Light" or "Dark" button again — it clears the custom color.

Title image

The title image appears beside the form's title on the public page. Add one, frame it, and drag to choose which part shows.

  1. 1In the form data section, next to the title, click the "Title image" button and pick an image file.
  2. 2Choose an aspect ratio for the frame: 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, or 16:9.
  3. 3Drag inside the thumbnail ("Drag to reposition") to choose the visible part of the image within the frame.
  4. 4Use the refresh button to swap the image, or the trash button ("Remove image") to remove it.
Uploaded images are downscaled before saving to keep the public page fast to load.

Preview before publishing

Switch to the preview to see the form exactly as respondents will, with all your appearance choices applied — including the light or dark appearance — before you make it public.

  1. 1In the builder header, use the "Edit" / "Preview" toggle to switch modes.
  2. 2Check the colors, font, corners, density, and title image on the rendered form.
  3. 3Switch back to "Edit" to keep adjusting, then save and publish when it looks right.
The preview uses your current unsaved changes, so you can iterate on the look without publishing anything. In Settings you can also choose whether selecting a form opens it in preview or straight into editing. For sharing the live link and reading responses, see "Publish and responses".
